ABOUT

Jesica is the singer/songwriter for Jesica's Voices, a Seattle-based alternative band. She’s a lifelong singer who’s tried everything from opera and jazz to blues and rock.

“I grew up in a musical family and studied classical voice in school. I reluctantly set my musical aspirations aside for nearly 15 years. All that time, however, I craved music and realized I needed it in my life. I started singing again and performing with a cover band. I wanted to do more so began writing my own songs; something I’d never thought I could do. When I finished the first one (Watch Me) it seemed to open something inside of me. Now I just keep writing.”

Jesica's powerful voice commands the listener's attention while her lyrics provide a window into her own life experiences. Her songs are a diary of sorts, with expressions of hurt and anger interwoven between cries of joy and hope.

Whether she is writing, recording, or performing onstage, Jesica has a singular and genuine goal: to connect. Through music she strives to open herself up and offer this diary to the audience, hoping that someone listening will know they aren’t alone.
