DRUMMER: Hungry, Dedicated, Self Taught. My gig experience consists of playing Southern/Classic Rock covers as a guest/stand-in before 100+ crowds, and playing open mics. I've been in 3 attempted bands and one paying studio gig in the past year and a half. I also did lighting atmospherics for a great local band for about 9 months. I do not have stage fright. I bring a powerful/flexible element to the rhythm section. My ability/willingness to study/rehearse/play various forms of music make me the timekeeper for the job. I experiment with different sounds, tempos, volumes & textures. I'm in this to have fun, to learn/improve my skills, & to make enough money to support my musical habit. Originals &/or Covers are great by me! It is all about the Music, First.

Influences
As a young pup growing up in the early 80's & 90's, my sonic diet consisted mainly of Classic Metal, Psychedelic Rock, Outlaw Country/Western, & Grunge/Alternative Music. At the turn of the Millennium, I found myself diving deeper into Heavy Underground/Indie Music, aka Stoner/Noise Metal. I've also grown very fond of Punk, Reggae, Dub, Jazz, & even Old School Hip-Hop. On any given day, you might find me listening to a schizophrenic mix of bands such as:
"The Melvins","Pantera","Black Sabbath","Frank Zappa",
"Stone Temple Pilots","DillingerEscapePlan","Sepultura","SoulFly"
"Faith No More","The Jesus Lizard","Medeski Martin Wood",
"David Allen Coe","Slayer","TOOL","King Crimson","Primus",
"Big Business","Stevie Wonder","LED ZEP","Galactic","Parliament Funkadelic", "Fantomas","YES","RUSH","Deftones","Pink Floyd", "JamesBrown","TheDoors","EarthWind&Fire","Tomahawk","Sublime", "Hank Williams I, II, & III", "Duke Ellington","WaylonJennings","MilesDavis"& God only knows what else....

EQUIPMENT
I do business with a "Pacific Drums" MX7, 5-Piece Mutt Set up. My sticks/pedals bounce off of Aquarian & Remo heads, I kick with a Pearl Eliminator Double Pedal. Assorted MEINL & PAISTE Cymbals that cut & sizzle. A trusty Djembe Drum named "Spirit" , and a triple Remo Roto-Tom are utilized for added atmospherics. Sturdy Ludwig hardware for my mounts. My handy ZOOM H4N is used for live recording/jamming/practice/writing purposes.
