ABOUT

Looking for creative project-focused people in the Seattle area to play acoustic music. I primarily play fingerstyle acoustic guitar and banjo with a love of early American folk, and blues and bluegrass mixed with alternative pop. I played decades of rock and alternative acoustic pop, but now focus mostly on folk, blues, cowboy outlaw country songs, and bluegrass but still play most all musical styles and can arrange and record my pieces or entire songs or sets

Search the interweb for JTSUNRISE Music and you may find some recordings

I make music to entertain and tell stories. Seattle music scene local since 1992, played 100s of shows, born in Chicago City of Blues, clean/sober goofy/fun an respectful, licensed Pike Market busker, new to this interweb platform and would really like to do more studio work and house party and outside folk gigs with other musicians. I also provide music for video and film and have worked with filmmakers.

On summer Saturdays mid-day I also meet up with a banjo player in Woodinville/Duvall I’ve played with for a few years and we play folk songs outside in public parks on the far Eastside on nice days and we welcome other players of any skill level - please get in touch if you would like to play

Also you may find me near the gum wall on summer weekends at Pike Place, I’ll be busking “Northwest Passage” next to a guitar case full of Canadian change

All the Best and may u b Blessed JT
