Hey there I have been playing guitar and drums, mostly myself, writing original music since the mid 1990s. I play acoustic at parties and have about 60+ covers. I am more interested in working original music but understand that is not what many people want to hear any more.
My ideal scenario would be a duo or trio to play acoustic/sing at open mics/bars, etc. But a full band would be exciting and something I'd like to try to play rhythm guitar in. I am a good player just lack experience jamming with others but I learn quickly and I'm dedicated to excellence. I believe if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well.
I am now ready to get out there and start playing with other musicians and getting out live. Hoping to find guys for whom this is a recreational hobby not a primary source of income. I have sons and a busy job so looking to play no more than a few times a week.
I am a good rhythm player and can sit in on drums too. I've not learned to play leads yet.
