I am a 28 yr old guitarist, living down near Bradenton and looking to start a new cover band (maybe do some originals) to play out on weekends for fun and some extra cash. I would like to practice down towards Bradenton or Sarasota, but would not mind playing out up in Tampa, as well as down here. I am very easy going and I want this as a part-time, fun, low-stress bar-band kind of thing. I am willing to practice a couple times a week. If you live around me and are interested, please email me. Influences
STP, Velvet Revolver, Scott Weiland Solo stuff, A Perfect Circle, Alice in Chains, Army of Anyone, Filter, Godsmack, Seether, Shinedown, etc...basically any good rock (and "softer rock") from the 90's until now...Classic rock is good too. I even love the heavy stuff too, like slipknot and mudvayne, for example. But my original music is more on the acoustic side, although I am working on some more alternative rock.
