Welcome to Krash and the Bandahoots! We're an eclectic band inspired by a wide range of musical sources, including classic, progressive, and Alternative rock, with seasonings from classical music, Indian traditions, and world music themes. We love experimenting with ragas, odd time signatures, key changes, and electronic sound textures to create a unique sonic experience.
Incorporating elements from artists like King gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Tame Impala, and Daft Punk, we blend these influences with neo-soul, hip-hop, hard rock, and world-beats. If you're passionate about creating music with infectious rhythms that keep audiences moving, our band is the perfect fit for you. We're all about emphasizing melody, as Maurice Ravel once noted, 'an implied melodic outline in all vital music.'
Our vision is to craft rich, evocative melodies that resonate long after the music stops. While we draw inspiration from diverse genres, we have a specific direction in mind. We're not aiming for aimlessness, but rather for a unique sonic experience that pushes the boundaries of genre.
