The band performs a wide variety of danceable energetic music, with styles ranging from Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Pretenders, ACDC, Joan Jett, to Kiss, Allman Brothers, and Pat Benatar, just to name a few.
With 3 lead vocalists, they can play a wide variety of music that’s sure to please even the most finicky crowd and keep the party going until closing time! Your bottom line is important to us. So we make every effort to bring people in and keep them there. With the band’s fun loving attitude and crazy stage antics, it’s sure to be a great time!
KRYPTONITE is:
Steve Twombly: Vocals, guitar- A former replacement vocalist with two nationally known bands; he has appeared with and opened for countless national acts; performed services such as concert production, artist development, singing, songwriting and performance. He has also appeared on stages like the Music hall at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas to the Norfolk Scope and Chrysler Hall.
Anne Bremus: Vocals-Lead singer for Cousin It, a Los Angeles Based band. Locally she held the lead singer position for”Crash”, “Thunder 80”, and opened for Zoso, “The ultimate Led Zeppelin experience” The Norva. She was also a radio personality, going by the name of “Anne Boyd” for WFOG radio.
Rocking Ronnie Jean: Guitar/Vocals- Played in various styled cover bands for over 36 years as well as playing fill-in guitar when needed, and doing a solo act when not playing with KRYPTONITE.
Ike Evans: Bass- Played in various cover bands throughout North and South Carolina since 1985. He has also performed with various regional and local acts.
Andy Crosswell: Drums/Vocals- Played in bands since 1970. He played original music while in the Navy in various locations around the world. He also played the “Cruise ship circuit” on the East and West coast as well as toured 30 states in various cover bands.
Together, these members form “KRYPTONITE”, sure to have your venue rockin’ and your clientele having a great time!
