Hey there,
I'm a newish guitarist looking for potential bandmates/collaborators who are into post-punk, power pop, new wave, 80s-synth influenced/etc. I'm open to what we'll play, since I love such diverse genres of music, but I lean toward anything that's got a great catchy hook and a punk sensibility, as vague as that sounds. I've been playing for a year but despite my beginner status have performed solo and with a band, and am working on songs right now. I'm taking constant lessons, so I'm getting better by the day and really looking forward to starting a project with others who have similar music taste and who want to write, record, and perform (but who are okay with doing this somewhat slowly). I'm really committed to this but also want it to be a blast. If you're judgey, competitive, or elitist, we probably won't get along.
