SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
I’m a mid-50s bass player. I played guitar, never particularly well, for 40 years before taking up bass when my garage band’s bass player moved. As a guitar player I was a bit loose. As a bass player, I’ve become a pain in the ass about solid time-keeping, knowing the changes, and actually listening to the drummer.
My garage band played everything from Bob Seger to The Decemberists, Foo Fighters, & Gin Blossoms, though if I’d had my way we would have done more Clash & Ramones.
We lost our singer to the allure of a beach house, so I’m looking for a new band to play with.

EQUIPMENT
Jazz bass, P-bass, acoustic & electric guitars & amps for both. Adequate and interesting pedal boards for both bass & guitars. I also have a small locker of decent mics, every cable known to man, a couple of small mixers, and an underpowered PA.
