Mostly here because I want to play pedal steel. I'm a 27 year old male multi-instrumentalist/singer, I recently started playing pedal steel and would love to play with others. Interested in Indie/alt and americana/folk/country on the pedal steel but open to seeing what other genres we can explore.
Aside from pedal steel, I play guitar and sing, and I can play bass, banjo and lap steel a bit. I usually play latin, jazz, folk, bossa nova and flamenco and sing a bit alone in private, and want to also play with more people. I miss singing and harmonizing and would be interested in singing with someone (think Adrianne Lenker and Buck Meek, Kacy and Clayton, Perlo and plenty of others). I usually play nylon strings but can play steel string or electric.
I'd be interested in playing guitar or bass for a variety of genres too, especially psychadelic, funk, indie styles, grunge pop/noise, soul, surf, shoegaze
I have a background in singing (in some bands, choir, a cappella), but it's been a few years since i sang with others really. I'd like to do lead or supporting vocals, but also play something.
I speak Catalan, Portuguese, Spanish and French and would enjoy singing in other languages too.
