ABOUT

This account is active and we will respond. We are an original metal band consisting of myself on guitar and vocals and my brother on lead guitar. Our sound is very thrashy with lots of groove and power and elements of death metal. We make music that is heavy and brutal on purpose and want people who get that. While we do use clean melodic parts and will experiment with our sound at times we are at our core a metal band. The current practice spot is in High Ridge, but St. Charles is also an option if need be. We have plenty of material written and are looking forward to writing more with a complete lineup. We are both in our 40's with families and careers which will always take priority. We are serious about this project and will take it as far as it goes, but we are also realistic about where we're at in life. We would prefer members in our age range with similar mentalities and priorities, but will make exceptions based on maturity and ability. We're over the days of band practice being a party. A few beers or a little smoke out back is fine, but no hard drugs and definitely no addicts. No liberals or Democrats either. We're pretty conservative and we won't get along. It sucks that it has to be said, but that's the world we live in these days. Having a job, car, equipment and ability to play is expected. The Lockjaw Sanctuary songs are from my previous project and the rest of the album and a few live videos are on YouTube. I played guitar and vocals as well as wrote these and a few other songs on that album. These 2 are in our current setlist as well as Tyrannicide and Decent which are recent. The big 4 minus Anthrax. Personally I'd put Testament there. Pantera, Sepultura, Soulfly, Machine Head, Chimaira, Lamb of God, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Becoming The Archetype, War of Ages, Demon Hunter, Impending Doom, Fit For A King and many more. Pretty much anything that is heavy and grooves or is melodic and deep.
