Experienced drummer (sometimes guitar and vocals as well) looking to start a band. Gig mostly as a drummer (either drum set or African Djembe drums). Have gigged in No. VA area for 14 years with a variety of bands and musical styles. Looking to focus on being the drum set player in my band but maybe guitar and vocals sometimes as well. Self. I am putting together a group from scratch as my own music project. I would be the leader but not in a controlling way. Open to ideas. Everybody picks 5 or 6 tunes. 4 or 5 are covers and 1 or 2 can be originals. We exchange recordings and self-practice. Then, we have band practice in Haymarket,VA. I have the space.
EQUIPMENT
I have 3 drum sets and access to a fourth. I have some cords for mics but no stands or amps or mics. I do have the practice space though.
