I've been playing music since the age of 9 and started playing guitar at 12. Initially self-taught then took lessons through high school where I also picked up mandolin. I went on to studied jazz and classical guitar in college. After college I was in a band as lead/background vocals for 4 years. I mostly play mandolin now but still play guitar a few times a week.
