My name is Matthew Rice and I am currently in search for a band or band mates to begin a career playing music. Contrary to the age bracket, I am actually 17, but I am beyond committed to music as a hobby and as a job. I’ve been playing guitar for the better part of 2+ with, in my opinion, great success for the time period and have past experience playing minimal bass and some drum and 4+ years in high ranking school and professional choirs as a bass and baritone but my vocal range is fairly broad, so singing high harmony parts shouldnt be a problem should I have to. I enjoy playing co-lead with another guitarist and just overall huge choruses and riffs with huge drums and all that good stuff. I will admit, I am no music theorist, but if you give me something to learn, Ill figure it out in some way shape or form. To correct the gigs per week at the bottom, my current job typically schedules me mornings for the summer so 3-4 nights a week and during the year I would usually be comfortable gigging around 2 nights a week to balance everything.
