I am a 22 year old guy who really wants to start singing in a band but I don't know the first thing really. I can't do it full time because I have a job and my first priority is my kids.
I'm pretty much an alternative/garage punk guy, but I'm not locked in a box. I would say I sing kind of like Iggy Pop, who is a big influence on how I sing. There's a little Gordan Gano and Black Francis there as well.
You should know that as for gigs and in general, I have a pretty flamboyant fashion sense, I would call myself glam-punk. I'm into makeup, nail-polish, and even cross-dressing on occasion, and if I joined a band, I would like to carry that over to stage presentation. Email me at sknywhtboy88 (delete the spaces)

Influences
A ton, from a wide variety of genres but the biggies for me, while ever changing are at current, Pixies, Iggy Pop/The Stooges, The Violent Femmes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Smiths, Bright Eyes, Amanda Palmer/The Dresden Dolls, Garbage, Gossip, Joy Division, Regina Spektor (I'll stop here to keep it short, and keep in mind, these are mainly those that I'd like to play like, while my favs list would also include the likes of Nina Simone, among others)
EQUIPMENT
Nothing, but I plan to buy a mic as soon as I can afford it.
