I am looking for a keyboardist for my jazz (maybe better to say jazz fusion) quartet. We would play out in the Chicago area 1-2 times per month. Right now I am minimizing my touring since I have a young son. Any tour-like adventures requiring travel outside Chicagoland would be brief and well compensated.
Rehearsals will be minimum in number and will be short and to the point since all the players are seasoned pros and I don't wish to waste my players' valuable time. :)
This group exists in 2 configurations - a nonet (no keys) and a quartet (with keys).
Even though I came here to seek a keyboardist, I also would be interested in doing sessions and one-off gigs that arise. I'm not looking for a band to join as a regular member -- well, unless the time commitment was small enough and the band cool enough! :)
