Band to Join, Drums, Keyboard, Lead Guitar, Other Percussion, Saxophone, Vocalist - Alto, Vocalist - Tenor.ABOUT
STOP RIGHT HERE! I'M A TRANSGENDER WOMAN. BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER, THINK ABOUT WHAT THAT MEANS.
Familiar with many more styles than can be shown here. Singer/songwriter. (A small but solid portfolio) Too old? Tell that to Keith Richards or Willie Nelson. Good gear for both guitar and bass. Nice pair of keys with many outboards.(Nice recording gear too.)
I'd prefer to work with other queer folk or at least VERY LGBTQ-allied. Pronouns are IMPORTANT and the last band I was in didn't think they were important at all. Kept calling me "he," "him" and "sir." They talked a nice line but the bottom line was that I was a hired gun and never a full member. You wanna play with me, you call me Miss or ma'am or Michelle and don't ever think for a moment that I'm just a dude in a dress. I got the paperwork and the ID to disprove that.
I don't look my age and I sure as hell don't move like it onstage. I'm very kinetic and if you don't like it, you can kiss my trans ass.

Influences
Too long of a list. (At my age, I've heard and played nearly everything.) Reduce it to basics: there's the Beatles and then there's everyone else. I've been influenced by EVERYTHING, with the possible exceptions of hip-hop, rap, and todays pop. I learned my chops in the 70's when it was all live, all the time. Frankly, I don't like working with computers, even though I've worked with digital interfaces a lot. I consider myself a musical omnivore and a brief glance at my Spotify list would confirm that.
