Been playing electric guitar in a vacuum for about 13 years and would like to join a band for recreational purposes and possibly gig if I can cut it.
Mostly play covers of classic-rock/alt-rock tunes like Zeppelin, Petty, Skynard, Allman Bros, White Stripes, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Foo Fighters, Bush, Blind Melon, Collective Soul, Neil Young, Pink Floyd to name a few.
Perfect band for me would be a two-piece with alto front-woman with some percussion skills -- kinda white stripes/black keys type of thing (doesn't have to be a full kit tho). Most songs from the above bands sound much better with a female voice imho.
