SEEKING
Vocalist - Alto, Acoustic Guitar, Vocalist - Soprano, Vocalist - Tenor.ABOUT
We are the acoustic band Minor Creek and appear throughout Eastern Nebraska. We are seeking a vocalist to add to our sound.
Minor Creek offers contemporary and classic folk-rock, modern bluegrass and Americana ballads. Our sound includes vocal harmonies, guitar and folk banjo. Minor Creek covers many artists, including Bob Dylan, Kingston Trio, Woody Guthrie, Greencards, Etta James, Missy Higgins and many more. We also include original tunes.
Minor Creek’s music fits any occasion or age group. We offer everything from a short after dinner program to a 4 set show. Audiences listen intently, enjoy as background or even dance to our songs! We’ll be happy to chose a play list specific to your setting.
We are reliable on-time professionals who love to share our music. Minor Creek provides all our own equipment – we just need a plug! Our fee is reasonable and we promise that you’ll be asking us to visit again.
Please give us a call - we think that you’ll be glad you did!
Best wishes!

A sea chanty from 1830 on the life of a whaler. We are glad that whale hunting is a thing of the past as these glorious creatures should live. But whaling was an important part of culture and industry in the 18th and 19th century - before modern methods nearly made them extinct.
