Band to Join.ABOUT
I am 37 years old and have been singing and playing piano/keyboard since I was a child but professionally since 2007. I have been lead vocalist and sometimes also played keys for funk, rock, folk/americana, blues, reggae, and jazz bands in Kalamazoo, Santa Rosa, San Diego, Chicago, and now that I live in GR area, I am hoping to get established with a band here. I have released 5 full-length albums, (2 original and 3 cover), all available on Spotify under "Molly Konzen" or "Molly Konzen Jazz Band." I am looking to join a band that plays any of these genres or a fusion of any of them: funk, jazz, latin, calypso, Afrocuban, rock, reggae, blues. I also love 80s pop and covers from the decades, so I would be happy to join up with a cover band. I love to harmonize so I'm happy to join a band that already has some vocals going. EQUIPMENT
I own a ton of quality equipment including multiple speakers and stands, PA's, 2 keyboards and their accessories, multiple mics, and recording equipment/software. I also own a melodica, which I enjoy playing, but am very new at, so it would be something I would only pursue further if the band wanted me to play it on stage.
