I sing music of freedom, love, and life. I infuse spoken words of strength with a little hip-hop, funk, R and B, and neo-soul. I dig deep in the soul of the music pulling out the hidden treasures found in the styles of our music's founding fathers. Bringing something new and refreshing to our music's future is one of my biggest goals.
Since the age of 17 I've been writing and teaching my own lyrics to different church choirs and groups in my surrounding areas. I sing the voice of alto, but my voice ranges from soprano to tenor.
I've sung background with many well know artists. I've appeared on the television shows "Girlfriends", "American Idol", the “Jerry Lewis telethon”, and the “Hurricane Katrina Telethon”.
My experience extends overseas as I've traveled abroad touring Japan with Glasshouse Productions and other cities and countries.
I'm also on Christina Aguilera’s "Stripped" and Ruben Studdard's "Soulful" albums.
I've done background for the likes of Cece Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Christina Aguilera, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, and Fantasia Barrino of American Idol, Mariah Carey, Daniel, and many more local talents both secular and gospel.
You can also see me perform some of earlier and today’s great music tunes at some of the Hot Greater Los Angeles local night clubs.
I hope through my different unique styles of expression through words and music, you too can open “The Eyes Behind Your Soul."
