I'm Nate, I dabble in quite a few musical projects and looking to add other musicians to my circle and maybe have some cross pollination among my projects. I sing, rap, song-write, and play multiple instruments. I'm a certified audio engineer and am comfortable recording, mixing and mastering in Logic, ProTools and Ableton.
I'm part of an indie label called Redhaven Collective. I also release music under the pseudonym Funk the Vocal where I just experiment with a lot of different sounds, but mainly alt rock, acoustic songs and alt/lofi hip hop where I sing, rap and do all the instrumentation myself.
I’d love to collab with some DMV artists. I have a home studio and work at Sheffield Studios in Phoenix MD. Live in Colesville.
Music isn't something you own. When you're playing with people, and everyone is locked in groove, or the jam takes control of your bodies--it creates something special and magical. A door to peer through and discover music. That music is for the world.
I like to run around on stage and lose myself in the music. I'm interesting collaborating with musicians who are like minded, who have a wide variety in musical taste and genres, and musical influences, and are open to creating something together that we can all nurture. Original music is the main pursuit and I have very little interest in covers.
