A flare for the slightly odd, Novis combines several tunings to create something unique while still trying to honor those they owe their inspiration. A result of many years spent deconstructing norms, it's members share a vision of 'formatted weirdness' and a drive to explore the dissonant to find something accidentally meaningful while still respecting the laws and customs of traditional musical structure. As music is mind and sound is brain, Novis attempts to hold the connection therein and holds true to their goal of positively influencing its listeners while still satisfying their own expressive needs as artists.
