Dormant drummer wanting to become acitve. I would like to join up with at least a guitarist or at best a full band to jam/play covers/write new songs and eventually play gigs. I am pretty solid, but not great. I have good rhythym and timing. I can keep a beat better than a lot of gigging drummers I have seen. Weak spot in my drumming is double bass, but it is coming around. Best available during the week as I don't go to work until 3 pm, and I can usually get 1 night off a week. I have a flexible schedule and I can make weekends available in the future if gigs become available, but right now I prefer to practice during the week. I can read and write drum music, and I learn very well by ear. I can learn pretty much anything other than speed/death metal. I am willing to play just about any kind of music, but I prefer modern and 80's rock. I can travel to play and practice, and I have a very large finished basement in the country and I can play anytime day or night with no neighbor problems.
