Currently I play drums with The Willie May Band out of Lackawanna NY and lead guitar/vocals for 4InTune out of the Buffalo South Towns. My style is def heavily influenced by blues, and my playing fits nicely with blues, blues rock, and classic rock flavored music. As a drummer, I am very jazzy/shuffle oriented. Not a double bass pedal style drummer but a solid "in the pocket" groove drummer. I strive to pick up guitar licks from many different people. Within my fills and solos one can probably hear some SRV, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, BB King and similar styles. Depending on mood and styles I play either my Epiphone Emperor hollow body jazz guitar or my recently acquired Epiphone Les Paul through a custom tubed Fender DeVille Amp. I tend to avoid pedals and go straight into the amp, utilizing the drive channel on the amp itself. Since last year, I have come out of my shell a little bit and will take my turn singing when I get the chance. My voice is coming arounf (much better than I ever thought it would) and Im still coming into my own with it. My band has had the pleasure of opening up for Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers, attending the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee and rocking the Hamburg Music Festival among other things. I am looking to further my resume and play as many gigs as I can book. It would be great to hear from anyone who has an interest. ESPECIALLY BASS PLAYERS AND DRUMMERS
