I listen to WTMD FM Baltimore Maryland 89.7
I am around listening to allot of music with people. Music is like 40 % of my time.

this below can get lengthy; basically I wrote it for myself

Plus I have big outdoors to play or safe distancing inside
( Get it together people cause you have to play the Instrument you just can't play the role)

Point Being; All of us can; shall we say get something together and go out and play in our post pandemic 2.0 Autumn days. Time to collaborate, start new ventures.

Have you heard of the choir that sang their part individually by way of the computer, and through the computer sent in their parts, then all the voices were mastered together for the song 'True Colors" How bout the guy in Baltimore and just put it together with musicians , out of state and out of country, all through the net, of four guys all with the same name who happened to have been musicians. Now a release.

As there are so many drummers better or different than I, none plays my drums a fine as me. I can look at some of these profiles and just put one hell of a group together. I don't mind bringing people together. I don't have a problem with it.Think when colder weather fall 2021 in the future; this means getting out to play after practice and recording.
.Lets get this str8. If you had, the time, a place to get together with other musicians and play, jam, create, just live; wouldn't you?

The vastness of music and who a musician is can be to oneself is totally changing in our modern conceptualization. There is no reason to hold oneself back and we should select and invite others to play together....one on one or more.

With me: The mindset is the most important thing here. I don't just play drums, I play and make perform real instruments, not toys. I live with my drums I have my back yard kit, my carry out kit, my pro kit. I am of the Pearl family of drummers.

look at these words, look at them; "the same old band concepts of music and presentation have changed', They really do not work as they used too. They are not compatible with me
.
A collaborative band or duo, trio could work much more efficiently than a traditional band arrangement. Trust me I am easy to team up with on any works. Always have projects in the works. Still one has to deliver, what one delivers comes from development. Either you put in the time to do it or you do not.

Influences

Mike Richey- Core Medalist Rhythm Guitarist/Guitarist ...Ginger Baker- Drummer, Antonio Sanchez- Drummer Producer, Jim Morrison Singer " the Doors" " Tony Allen ( Afro Beat Drumming ) and the influences keep growing and evolving.....(.Though I am Interested If you want to take a good pounding from my Pearl drums).......Perhaps my next influence is You....(I'm out to meet people). of course the way people have done it in Nashville, New York, Scotland.

When I read someone’s Bandmix narrative, I wonder: What’s this person about? Would they understand what is involved with playing out ? Also; How about the public relations and people inner action aspect of musicians with regards to their music? Can you write a formula in writing music?

I go back to a summer in D.C. on the corner of 7th and F streets N.W. outside the Capital One Arena or Center. About 10:30 AM I believe a five piece, four horns and drums would start to play as street musicians. They sounded horrible. Who wouldn’t at that time in the morning with traffic and pedestrians all about?

I couldn’t imagine having to blow into a trumpet starting my day on the city street corner. Come later in the afternoon they would break for lunch. Come back and play some more. Really, sounding nothing special or all that good. They played and break through dinner. Game time was on as the crowds arrived for the basketball game and rush hour traffic. The group was sounding upbeat and tighter. Basically playing the same stretched out theme and variations throughout the day into evening over and over.

When it was time for the game to end on this one Saturday night as the crowd was leaving the arena; this band was smoking hot, super dynamic and tight. This band became the theme of the night all up and down 7th street collecting and making the spirit of the night for all the bars and restaurants and cars on the strip; A captive audience of thousands. This band played off each other very well. Watching them move and hear them play off each other was a spice and a main ingredient of their sound.

EQUIPMENT

oh yeah. Musicians are the most up standing pillars of society. Like nobody gets their stuff stolen. What ever I have, I protect it. The most important equipment; my brain. As a musician, sound man and music format person . Also( I've noticed so many musicians on here share the same guitar pic.) That guitar gets around.
