Newly forming band wants to feature violin/fiddle as a lead instrument for blues, jazz, funk, etc. We have strong female vocals for blues and jazz. Instrumentally we want to perform Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, & Jean Luc Ponty among others.

Many and diverse--too many to mention, but here's an idea: Bonnie Raitt, Ella Fitagerald, Robben Ford, Koko Taylor, Willie Dixon, jazz standards, James Brown, plus those previously listed...

Equipment List:

We have PA system and some mics. We have a rehearsal space as well, we expect to rehearse once a week generally. We have played for years in different bands and want to form a new one.

Members Of Band:

We want to keep it a quartet--drums, bass, rhythm guitar/piano player and violinist/fiddler. Electric fiddle would be great for amplification.
