ABOUT

Guitarist and Drummer are seeking seasoned bassist and/or keyboardist for original instrumental Funk Fusion project for collaboration, recording and live performances... Our style is like jumbalaya with funk being the meat with some latin and blues thrown in with a bit of jazz fusion and a hint of avant garde. We have several tunes worked up and are currently in the studio laying down drum tracks with bass and guitar soon to follow. The tune Lunker Funk (above) was recorded a while back when we first got back together. It is basically an improv jam based around a funk riff and although it is not a well rounded representation it should give you some idea. An awesome bassist and keyboardist would really help fill things up especially since this is an instrumental project. We are looking for passionate musicians who have similar influences, a pro attitude, and chops. We have a recording studio and rehearsal space. If any of this sounds interesting to you please contact us to set up a jam session at our recording studio. Contact John at aikenj01(at)(dot)com
