I write and perform. The Classic Rock era solidifies and defines the mission of the bands that play it, which is to take the listener to a different time and a different world. It helps remind us of a better time, and that music is supposed to have some guts and gonads and be uplifting, not a loop of retetitive nonsense. To me, modern music is the reflection of our nation's current political and social ignorance and indifference. No further comment. God Bless America.
