ABOUT

Hey, this is Darren. I'm working on putting a band together and am looking for some musicians. Right now it's just me and my drummer. I sing and play rhythm/lead guitar. We definitely need a bassist and it would be very helpful to have a second guitar player, whether it be lead or rhythm. The most important part about us is that we are sold out for Christ and using our talents for his ministry. Our dream is to make it in the music industry and play music as a living... Being out on the road touring, playing every day, and seeing lives changed.

Something I should mention is my drummer and I play in the high school worship band twice a week, so that's what I'm referring to at the bottom of the page when I say we practice and play as much as we do. We've yet to perform an actual concert.

I should also mention that the songs on this page are just my solo work and doesn't include my drummer. Everything was done by me. But we will be playing these songs until we have our own material.

Influences

We listen to alot of heavier modern rock. If I were to list christian bands we look up to, it would be bands like Pillar, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, Decyfer Down, Disciple, and so on. Some of the secular bands we're into are Sevendust, Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Chevelle, and so on. I think this sound really comes through in our music. Really we just love heavy guitars, heavy drums, but smooth melodic vocals with some screaming here and there.

Members Of Band

Darren - Lead vocals, lead/rhythm guitar

Spencer - Drums

EQUIPMENT

We're all poor, so although we have have nice instruments, our equipment is up and down. I play Dean guitars through a PODxt Live, which sounds amazing, but hope to get a Mesa Boogie halfstack as soon as I can afford one. But until then, the POD sounds great.
