my nme is richard smith and i recently cut a cd using studio musicians. the music is country, rock and blues with one or two ballads. i completed the cd and then have been asked to open for the blues festival at pirates cove, nc. i also have been asked to play in rockingham nc at two different locations as well as panama city florida, florence sc and sumter sc. i had to turn down all these gigs cause i dont have a band. the guys i record with are older and just dont have the time so thats why im here. my music hit number 1 for one day on the greatest american country charts. all my songs are my originals but open to play covers as well what ever pays the bills.

starting from scratch im a singer, i have one fender amp and one elctric guitar. i figure if your serious you should have most of your equipment and we can aquire as we go and if we play in rockingham another band has agreed to let us use their equipment during the gig
