ABOUT

"I've been playing guitar and singing for a long time. I'll play anywhere.
I can sit in with a full band and play their tunes sound unheard. I can hear a rapper spit two bars and pick up the timing to improvise a full song.
I think that's how the best music gets made. Catch the vibe and roll with it.
To me, that's what a true artist does;
collect memories of music to pull up at a moments notice and put to use.
The crowd digs it, the artists dig it, and I just try to keep my eyes open and enjoy it."

Martin Salazar is a singer-songwriter from Southern California. He has been playing guitar since 11, and began singing and playing in church at 12. At 17, Martin began playing his original music live at coffeehouses in San Diego. At 24, he started recording his original music in order to begin distributing it to a broader audience. The following year, he opened a recording studio with a group of engineers and producers called Reflective Audio. With the Reflective Audio team, he also became very involved in the underground San Diego Hip Hop scene, writing melodic hooks for local rappers and poets.
