ABOUT

I'm a guitar player. I can also play the drums a little bit.

I'm 43 years. I have my own gear and transportation. I don't do drugs and rarely drink alcohol.

I've been playing guitar for 20+years. I've been in a few bands over the years. All hard rock/metal bands,
The last band I was a part of did rather well. We recorded an album which you can stream or purchase online.
We also received radio play, opened for national touring acts and even got some play on MTV Road Rules

I'm looking for a group around the same age (plus or minus a few years) to...
Become good friends
Form a band or join a band
Work on our musicianship
Write/Jam music together
record the music
publish the music,
maybe play the occasional show, and repeat....

I've played my fair share of shows over the years and it's a lot of work, so I'm not in a big hurry to play too many shows right away. I'm not excited about closing down bars at 2am for $75. However, once we get our music worked out, I'm open to some gigs here and there.

Although I'll always enjoy Lamb of God, Machine Head etc......I'm not sure yet but I may have outgrown playing in a "metal" band but I'm definitely interested in Hard Rock. Rock, Alternative, Red Dirt Country, Southern Rock etc....If we we're playing shows at some point, I'd like to play for a broader audience than 25 dudes in black shirts, I just may be too old for that at 2am nowadays.

I prefer originals with the occasional cover.

My skillset and equipment are mainly within hard/rock/metal BUT I'm also interested in other stuff nowadays like:
Grady Spencer, Whiskey Myers, John Mayer, The Eagles, Ghostland Observatory, Jack Johnson, STP etc...

It's more important to me that we enjoy each other's company, vibe well together and have fun.

I am interested in a band or working with a drummer or guitarist to write music with. If necessary, I may even be able to provide the practice space.

I'm slowly learning Garageband and I have a few recordings if you want to her them and I have some videos I could share you if you were interested and needed. My primary social media presence is but it's not much.

My schedule is tight so my primary time for band/music is Saturday afternoon/evening and I can probably make Sunday work sometimes too.

I'm located in North Fort Worth/Haslet area.
