Experienced. Have played professionally as a moonlighter. Prefer standard jazz, blues, soul, classic rock and pop. I do not like disco, heavy metal or bebop/fusion. Sticks and brushes. Will play for free/fun. Nearing retirement and want to transition into more playing for fun or profit.

Influences
Any music from 1940's through 1970's. Prefer lower volumes. I am not a soloist and prefer to support the group. Favorite drummers are Joe Morello, Jeff Hamilton (Diana Krall),Harold Jones (Count Basie, Natalie Cole), all Funk Brothers drummers, Dino Danelli (Rascals).

For rock and louder volumes - Sonor standard size 4-piece set with Paiste cymbals.
For jazz and lower volumes - Ludwig jazz size 4-piece set with thinner Zildjian vintage cymbals from 1960's.
