ABOUT

I've been playing pedal steel and Dobro since the late 70s (in my late teens). I'm a LOT more tasteful than I am flashy and believe I can not only play something that fits in nearly any genre, but I believe I can play something that BELONGS in nearly any genre. I'm at home in the three I checked, but have played jazz, Funk and Reggae on occasion and would LOVE the opportunity to play with bands of nearly any flavor, especially Latino (I think the steel would just SING in a Tejano band) or ska.
If you need or want a steel, or are curious what you'd sound like with a steel picker in the mix, call me at 816 206 0239

EQUIPMENT

Zumsteel D-10 (that means double-neck, for those unfamiliar), 8P, 7K. Peavey LTD amp and a Peavey rack-mount EQ, the only effects I'm likely to use are an Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail reverb, a Boss Tone fuzz, and a Boss PH3 phase shifter.

8-string Dobro, sans pickup (I may put one in, haven't yet).
