I hold a BM in Vocal Performance, and have professional experience in classical singing, musical theatre, and jazz singing. Currently leading a New Orleans Jazz band, we are looking to fill out our sound.
We are seeking a new rhythm guitarist who is familiar with this style and has played jazz before. (Louis Armstrong and his Hot Five/Seven, modern day Tuba Skinny sound)
We are all seasoned musicians with a passion for this music and bringing it to the Richmond area. We are looking for the same passion in a guitarist- someone who has time and energy to devote to weekly rehearsals. Charts are provided, so show up on time, prepared with the music you got beforehand, put your heart into it, and have fun.
Eventually we will be playing for dancers, private parties, etc. and we will also be busking once the warm weather comes back.
