Prince, Jill Scott, Anita Baker, Nat King Cole, Dinah Washington, Peggy Lee, Marvin Gaye, James Ingram, Michael Jackson...all of these exuded a smooth it factor but still had the ability to have an upbeat vibe and a cool undertone they emoted so many things whilst singing ... I respect 'em because their melodies and harmonies would tell the stories in tune with the pitch and tone of course..
