I NEED A SINGING LEAD GUITAR PLAYER - HELP ME GET MY GROOVE ON!!! I am no longer going to be playing with CruiseMachine and I am in the process of putting together a new band. It's going to be a groove based band, doing blues, R&B, motown, classic rock, who knows maybe even some country or gospel. Anything that has a cool and hopefully infectous groove. With plenty of room for improv stuff.... maybe finding a way to break into I'm A Man in the middle of Funk 49.
The band will be guitar, bass, drums and keys and maybe a horn or harp.
The new band will be a little more mainstream and marketable. I want tunes that folks love to sing along with, will get feet movin' and bodies' groovin'. Looking for cool and smokin' versions of the tunes we'll cover. For instance instead of Grand Funk's 'Some Kind Of Wonderful', I would like to do Joss Stone's version.
