ABOUT

In short, I'm a lead bassist. I've made it my mantra to bring the bass to the front of the stage as a lead instrument by incorporating the speed, complexity, and melodic improvisation of jazz into rock music. Among the many bands I've played in, some notable entries include Krankin’, Polar, No Comment, Nitro, Trips’s Society, Truce, Sons of God, Prayground, The Parlour Dogs, Snake Oil, SRP, and Maximum Impact. I've also done numerous sessions and studio work for a plethora of Detroit’s jazz, fusion, and rock artists.

I also play guitar (primarily acoustic) and some keyboards/piano.

I'm totally professional, extremely knowledgeable, and full of energy. I use the whole stage and engage the audience.

EQUIPMENT

I play Fender Jazz Basses that I've fully customized, and use either Ampeg or Trace Elliot amplification depending on the genre and venue. Along with that I utilize midi controlled effects (flange, phase, reverb, chorus, etc.) at line level, and a Shure QLXD4 wireless. Also Taylor and Takamine acoustic/electric guitars; six and twelve string respectively.
