I love anything upbeat. Preferably with a harder edge. Anything that allows for guitar solos is better. I don’t need to spend 20 minutes trying to mime Yngwie, but playing rhythm all night isn’t necessarily my bag.
I’m currently in a blues/classic rock/funk/soul band that plays about 6-8 times a year.
I’m also part of startup (that’s looking for a drummer and possibly a vocalist) that plays 80’s- current rock, looking to play once or twice a month.
While I’m committed to those bands, I’m also open to other opportunities that will could me to play out as much as reasonably possible.

Influences
Just name an 80’s guitarist that played a Strat or a super Strat… that said, my rhythm style is very percussive (think drummer) and solo style is akin to 80’s Kirk Hammett, meets a white boy playing blues.
