Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar.ABOUT
I'm a retired guy who has played on & off over the years. I enjoy music from all eras, but really like playing stuff I grew up with in the 60s. I play acoustic & electric guitars, some bass, some keyboard. Although I've played lead, I'm not good at improv and would like to hook up with someone who plays better than I do so I can learn from him. (or her) Also mediocre keyboards & bass -- I'm your basic jack of all trades, master of none. Can sing harmony with with a crappy voice and make recognizable sounds on all of the listed instruments. Why so diverse? Because I heard parts of songs on different instruments that I liked so much that I just had to learn how to play 'em!
Mainly looking for someone to play/record (on computer multi-track) for fun. Under right circumstances, could play out, but that's not a goal at the moment. As a retiree, I have very flexible practice hours, so could get together just about any time of the day or evening.

Influences
Lots of 60s bands -- the British Invasion, especially The Beatles, Stones, Freddie & the Dreamers, Herman's Hermits, The Animals, The Zombies, Yardbirds, Tremolos, etc.
American acts such as the Beach Boys, Lovin' Spoonful, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, Box Tops, The Outsiders.
Also loved the Detroit scene in the 60s, especially Nugent & the Amboy Dukes.
They Might Be Giants, Rodney Crowell, Todd Snider, Frank Zappa - geez, where do I stop?
And many, many, many more.
