Growing up in a family of musicians with strong Hawaiian harmony influences, I took lessons in music and martial arts during my time in the military. As a civilian, I became a music teacher and found that teaching and performing were a virtuous cycle that helped me improve. Over the past 20 years, I've taught many people in Alaska and some of my students have competed in music competitions. However, I'm now seeking new challenges and a community of musical peers who share my level of desire, dedication, and ability.
