I am a very versatile musician, not only in ability to play multiple instruments, but also, in my styles and genres of music. Although I have spent many years perforning in the Americana Pop, folk, country, and light classic rock and blues, I'd like to find some mature guys interested in developing a cover band performing classic acoustic rock of the 50's and 60's. Looking for musicians within about a half-hour radius of Canton, MI.
. Am seeking an acoustic guitarist with a good strong voice who can sing lead or improvise harmony, who can also play a good lead guitar for instrumental breaks in our songs. Also, would like an experienced drummer familiar with the era songs. Need a keyboardist/vocalist for harmonies, and a bass guitar player. If 3 of the 4 musicians noted above can sing lead and harmonies, that would be ideal! Also, am seeking someone who can back my current venues with light percussion instruments; bongos, guava blocks, tambourines, shakers, etc. Need not have a voice, but harmony vocal backup preferred.
