ABOUT

I sing & play guitar. I am looking for more musicians to jam, learn and grow with.

Basically looking for a lead guitarist, bassist, drummer and possibly a keyboard player with a good attitude and love for music. Please no egos, no drugs, or any other self-destructive stupidity.

Direction I’d like to take - multicultural fusion of rock with a mix of very traditional instruments and aggressive rock (mixed in with some electronic darker Depeche mode & Muse style) with something to say.

I have a family and full time job so that will always come first but I always thought it would be great to get good enough to perform publicly. I’ve already spent years jamming with friends but it never went anywhere as they already had other musical interests & commitments. Even though I do music for fun I would like to get a lot better.

I have a bunch of songs I've written but man they need some serious work. Trying to play while singing too has definitely been my main a limitation on what I can do on my own. I’m currently working on learning more covers from a variety of bands to help expand my vocal range and playing.

Influences

Types of Songs I like to sing – stuff by Audioslave, Duran Duran, Stereophonics, Stone Sour, Depeche Mode, Genesis, U2, Dishwalla, Candlebox, Crowded House, a-ha, Junoon, Stilkskin,Ugly Kid Joe, Megadeth etc. I like a lot of classic, hard rock, alternative and a lot of the newer bands and even some pop music as well. Just too many to list here.

Lately Maneskin, Lovely The Band, Cloud Nothings, Badflower, Airways, Amorphis, Apulanta, Betcha, Cut Glass Kings, Big Spring, Black Keys, Sam Fender, Palaye Royale, Teenage Wrist, Red Sun Rising, Royal Blood, Greenleaf, The Rasmus, HIM , Within Temptation, CKY are just some of the 'newer' bands I've been listening to.
