I'm a piano player with classical background who got his start in New Orleans. Played in a band in high-school before my dad got transferred to Alaska where I fell out due to life distractions. I've played individually the entire time but want to get back into a band and the music scene.
I'm looking for a project to entice a buddy to come up from Florida to play a set or two somewhere local, perhaps a neighborhood block party or a club on open mic night. I need to return a favor where he had me out last year to play a major gig with a 9 piece band (Chicago covers were awesome with the horn section). He's a fantastic lead guitarist and the set list was a lot of 70's and 80's covers.with a few more current songs sprinkled in.
