Wesley (.wesleypatton) grew up in a diverse environment he started playing piano at age 5 "My Dad used to tell us that we could not appreciate our own music till we learned to appreciate someone elseâ??sâ??! Soon after that began guitar lessons under the instruction of his uncle former â??Basie Bandâ?? member Trombonist Herbert â??Moonâ?? Mullins playing both instruments though his formative years graduating Gardena High School in 1982 as Head Drum Major, Trumpet Captain and two years in the LA All City Marching Band and Drill team as first trumpet.
