I am 49 yrs. old, married with an 8 yr. old son. I am currently playing drums on our church's praise and worship team, but would like to get into a band, outside of church again. I have also sung back-up before, in the band I was in. It was years ago, but I sing all the time, by myself. I gigged years ago in that band I was in, up in the Chicago area. We did 50's,60's and blues. I have messed around with a 4 track, recording a few of my own creations. I can play basic chords on guitar and keyboards, and have played keyboards in my church in the past as well. I like to improvise on those. I am easy to get along with and love music.

Influences:

Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Eagles, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, blues, some R & B, and I like music to suit my moods as well. I don't dig rap, but I like some funk. I learn pretty quick.

Equipment List:

I have drums, no brand name on the drums, but hopefully money will allow someday to get more equipment. I play our church drums, (Tama). I have a Takamine G series acoustic-electric,a Squier strat w/ Fender Deluxe 112 amp,(that guitar, I don't use that much), and a Yamaha SO3 Synth.
