After a hiatus consisting of becoming a father and launching FrugalGuitarist.com, I've been feeling the itch to perform again and am seeking like minded individuals with the goal of gigging locally. I have a bit of adual personality when it comes to music. Part of me likes to focus on groove oriented modern more eclectic yet still approachable jazz (for lack of a better term) in the styles of John Scofield (A Go Go, Uberjam, and Up all Night albums), the Stanton Moore Trio, Soulive, etc with a strong emphasis on improvisation. The other half is all about down home roosty southern rock along the lines of the Black Crowes and Gov't Mule.

I'm open to joining an established group or forming a new one. Thanks.
