I am a trumpet player originally from New Orleans Studied music Loyola University in New Orleans. Played with several band recording and covering all genres of music including Big Band, smoothe Jazz, Top 40, R&B, Funk and Tejano. Opened for acts such as KC and the Sunshine Band, Blood Sweat and Tears and Fats Domino with "The Boogiemen". Played with Grammy nominated Tejano groups AVIZO, Jay Perez, Grammy nominated producer and smooth Jazz artist Bob Gallarza, Percy Sledge and the Spinners shows.
I moved to the Fort Myers area in 2013 and have been freelancing with various cover bands and shows that come through town. The bulk of my playing over the last few years here were with the Stardust Memories Big Band lead by Craig Christman. Throughout my time here I have been working on developing a high powered horn band to showcase festivals, corporate events and special functions. After months of scouting the area and playing with various local musicians, I, with the help of Tony Fransway, was fortunate to recruit some of SWFLs best musicians to form NOUVEAU SOL....Southwest Floridas' premier Horn Driven Variety Band!!
My vision was to put a group together unlike any around performing music from ALL genres from old school Motown/funk to today's hits as well as incorporating some funk/fusion and jazz selections from the liking of Snarky Puppy, Incognito and Lettuce which is not heard in these areas. We are for sure the most versatile group able to perform for any occasion!
