ABOUT

Lets cover some Zeppelin and TRUE blues, take an acoustic spin out on GOOD cover songs, something different. Charlotte cover bands play the same ol.. let's think outside the box, once we have a 'sit-down', you'll get the idea. What are your favorite songs?

The video i've posted are of Me and Michael Clontz playing at The Evening Muse in NoDa Charlotte NC on Valentines day 2011. Michael and I still play together every week, at my house. My 13 year old son, Jordan is learning songs on the guitar, bass and drums and is my little musical prodigy. I am a super proud momma. We have a great drummer too, happens to be our best friend. :)

Surely someone out there (listeners/audience) upon hearing us (if we played the songs in my head) would recognize a song from an Album they bought back in the day, even if it didn't have air time? Didn't you wear out your vinyl records? We all bought the records, listened to the songs, bought needles after needles.... made them all rich. There is more to Canned Heat then UP THE COUNTRY!!!!! Did you know about Bob Hite? The private christian school told me that Zeppelin was DEVIL MUSIC!!! I want to go back and blast 'Friends' by Zeppelin over the morning announcements 20 years later. Do you know who Steve Marriott is? He's one of many musicians that didn't/doesn't get recognition...

Now.. if I hear Stairway to Heaven ONE MORE TIME...

** Update**
I currently, (thanks to Bandmix) have a guitar player and drummer, I have a studio set up inside of the main room of the house, I am located in the shadows of Charlotte Motor Speedway and easy to get to for practice. We are currently seeking an experienced electric Bass player, another guitar for rhythm and sharing solos, and keys possibly and anything acoustic or groovy. We need a PA . I am using a very small PA currently. We meet on Sundays and once during the week for our practice/jam,/hula-hooping/potluck supper/sunset-chill-sessions/campfire and I also play the Dulcimer (Appalachian Style) in the key of D - A - D original melodies - acoustic - no vocals on that one. Feel free to join me at the firepit. I shake a golden Egg and need a tambourine. I also play a traditional Native American handmade Flute in the key of E. I can play the heck out of a Djembe drum and have a Didgeridoo but cannot play it continuously. I own my own HulaHoop Fitness Company and we extreme Hula Hoop outside as well. I've whittled away by doing Extreme Hula Dancing and have lost 60 pounds. I want to bring my success to others and make and sell my own ForeverHoops and have Hoop Parties and Retreats.

Over the summer I was honored to perform our National Anthem for Minor League Baseball : "The Kannapolis Intimidators" and also performed for the "Summer Shootout Series" for Charlotte Motor Speedway. I have posted the National Anthem on here and am available to sing it any time for any reason. :) Spread the word.
